1. One fair critique a few folks have pointed out about my impeachment column is that I'm underestimating the possibility that the Senate would not only remove Trump, but disqualify him from holding office again, which *should* take care of the issue of him just running again.

Is it just me who thinks he should be impeached for what is essentially gross negligence in carrying out his constitutional duties? To me, the Ukraine stuff pales in comparison to Syria, even though it's fairly clearly within the President's power.

Even if so, that doesn't make it evil. "Political science" is the centuries-old study of the polis, the body politic, the people. Saying "I don't get involved in politics" means you don't want to have any say in your community, nation, or world. There's nothing wrong with it.
