i generally think everything you think/say is wrong, but i 100% agree on this. IF you are seeking or occupying high office in this country, your immediate family has to take 10x the precaution to make sure people know they're not benefiting personally at the expense of america

if you read the new yorker profile of hunter, it just stinks. your dad is the vice president. everyone knows that. get a cushy job in hollywood? sure. write some books? great. consult for foreign governments of multi-nationals that could benefit from biden's office? no!

lame grounds for pushback, but I think the operative word here is "personal." pretty unseemly to be bringing maury povich stuff into this.

Uh, obviously. That’s just hackwork. Idea is to get Joe out of race to protect Hunter. It’s a leverage campaign—turning strength (love of family, great personal pain) into a weakness. Most people don’t know how to do this. I do. In this case, it’s disgusting.

I like Biden or Pete in 2020. Biden's kid profiting off his dad's position- is fair game. And, has me leaning more towards Pete. All of us Dems are grossed out that Trump's kids do it. No free passes to anyone- GoP or Dem.
