1. Has anyone else had this happen? My PC boots up to a lock screen with a scenic photo. You can click an icon to search the pic's location on Bing. PC requires a password. But often the lock screen won't take you to enter it unless you hit the icon. So Bing opens.

Google records everything you do in Chrome. Including incognito mode

Never had that. On the occasions where the PC won’t give me the login screen, I’ve tapped the CTRL-ALT-DEL combo (once) and it pops up. Just the ALT or CTRL key ought to do it even

I can just click anywhere or hit Enter and the password prompt pops up.

I don’t think it matters much. Only metrics that matter for Bing are whether people search and an ad is delivered. With analytics, even if Bing juked those stats, people would realize their ads aren’t converting real traffic. It’s a benign attempt, from my POV.

Worth noting that search ads PPC (pay-per-click). So Bing would have to deliver a phone click. Considering the ad is never actually served, this is about 2-3 “ifs” removed from counting toward anything substantial.
