Which, in my view, is why it's legitimate to criticize the framing and rollout independently of the essays themselves. The Times is making promises for the series that responsible scholarship can't deliver.

@KevinMKruse essay. The SEO title is "How Segregation Caused Your Traffic Jam". The essay doesn't deliver that, given the many intervening factors. Maybe Kruse had nothing to do with picking that title, but the NYT editors either chose it or approved it.Show this thread
