Yeah but he was very close to running for President as a Republican in 2012 and everyone knew he was a Republican during the birtherism stuff. This is somewhat disingenuous.

I didn't remember Trump working as part of Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign ... because that's where the idea of "birtherism" was created and first used as a political attack.
