Coalition politics always means learning to play well with other factions in your party, and also accepting that different factions get a turn at the wheel. Too many of the loud MAGA voices haven't accepted that or planned beyond his term.

I didn't vote for Trump in 2016, will oppose his nomination again in 2020, & don't know if I will vote for him next November, but I'm not leaving the GOP. Like it or not, those of us who value liberty & Constitutional government will still need each other when Trump is gone.

"the people who want a party that looks & sounds like Trump aren't a majority" - this is true, but there's bigger point. The majority of Americans from BOTH parties broadly support Trumps agenda of - immigration control & liberal fiscal spending - they just don't admit it.
