I think it would depend on where A and B hit in the lineup. If B is scoring more runs because his OBP gives others RBI opportunities, then his production might be more impactful. If A is hitting with runners on base more often, then the higher BA plays more.

Yeah, I vote A, all else equal. But the team context matters. A guy who hits .220/.280/.550 can be more valuable than a guy with a .350 OBP, if his lineup is full of guys who get on base, don't run & don't have power.
