You do have such sentiments in Jewish law, which clearly some people follow. My point is that the same people who object to it on supposedly universal moral grounds in one area sanctimoniously embrace it in another.

How can I stand with people on any issue if those people don't believe I have a right to exist, or if they want laws that don't treat me equal to them? It's easy for someone like you to say we should peacefully coexist but you're never the minority, hence you're never threatened.
