Ideally, over a series of primary debates, you want candidates asked a *fair* mix of 4 Qs: 1-Tell me what you want to say. 2-How do you & your opponents differ? 3-Talk about X, which your party's voters want to hear about. 4-You'll be criticized for Y, how do you answer that?
This is why I did not find a problem with the DNC saying no to fox debates. When the RNC debates are run by left leaning media companies, the topics of discussion and question framing are designed for leftist audiences.
