Sure—but that doesn’t address the sheer bad faith at the heart of Paul’s tweet. He’s throwing up smoke about the deficit and debt. He has no intellectual standing to discuss that. Spending—go ahead, hate every nickel. But don’t bring in deficits and debt.

I think the budget deal is outrageous, and should be stopped. My point is that guys like Josh are operating on an alternate planet where reducing taxes is spending. That's so wrong you can't even argue with it.

Tax cuts lead to deficits which then leads to borrowing money.. that money has interest. Tax cuts for the wealthy & corporations will be paid off by the entire tax base.
