Miggy’s contract is horrible but he has the highest upside. But I’m taking Pujols. Least $$.

I'd pick Pujols, since he's arguably the most dangerous offensive player since at least Mickey Mantle, if not Ruth or Gehrig

Agree...Albert will at least give it his all and that money number is at least manageable for a club.

Yea, and Albert still has a fan base that should give you a momentary juicing of ticket sales and tv viewers. Also has some milestones you can potentially hype.

Worth noting Pujols has a $10 "personal services contract" at the end too.

If you want to talk truly terrible contracts, I’ll throw in a couple of Rangers to consider: Rougie Odor ($49.5M) and Shin-Soo Choo ($130M).
-
Choo is overpaid, but he only has $21M left after this year and he's still productive (.284/.381/.497 this year, pace for 103 Runs). Odor will only be 26 next year, has $35M left if you buy out the last year.

Pujols, he's so sweet to fans and they love him.
