Since I mentioned the 2013 film Oz the Great and Powerful earlier: it made half a billion dollars worldwide & Disney announced they had James Franco & Mila Kunis signed on for a sequel. Six years later, has anything happened? If it has, I missed it.

Extremely bad take. I love Wizard of Oz for all the reasons you mentioned. My favorite musicals are West Side Story and Singing In The Rain.
