I am - unless I'm making a very specific intra-conservative point - happy to debate my political views with people who do not share them. If you are not a believing Catholic, however, your views of my faith are simply not relevant. You do not believe; no more is worth saying.

Fair enough, I guess you're not going to argue the merits of justification by faith vs justification by faith plus works. A pity, as I do think a respectful theology argument between Catholics and Protestants can be edifying.

Evangelicals span the entire political spectrum. The UCC is technically evangelical, even though I doubt many members voted for Mike Pence. Somehow all can square their political and religious beliefs.
