The debate over whether the Right should abandon the tenets of classical liberalism cannot be properly understood without the context of the decline of the remaining support for classical liberal ideals on the Left as liberals get crowded out by progressives.

One easy proxy for this divide is to look at things like advertiser boycotts & social media rage mobs. Should the Right make the Left live under its own rules, or should we reject those tactics as both bad for society & ultimately unwinnable for the Right?

This is a bad excuse. Almost everybody I know in NYC is a Democratic voter and we generally all seem to agree that the Wokeness Olympics is counterproductive & wrong. Twitter isn’t Real Life. Let’s all have a little more faith in the ideals that got us this far.
