I always try to eat right after a run because real science shows that you utilize nutrients (especially protein) most efficiently in the first two hours after the end of a vigorous workout.

I run at 5:30 in the morning. First food I eat that day is at noon. Eat dinner around 6:00 and nothing else until the next day. Seems to work okay IF you eat small meals. If you eat a lot your stomach stretches and you’re always hungry.
