The problem is that every single song on all three of those sounds better live than in the studio. I almost never listen to the original Nebraska recordings.

Interesting! Personally I love the haunting aura throughout. Songs like State Trooper and the opening track for ex. Sends chills down your spine And “Incident on 57th” I think sounds pretty good on the studio recording, albeit the E Strt. LIVE COLLECTION CD is fantastic
