Happy to agree upon plurality with you vs, majority. Realistically, I think the largest chunk of Americans might simply be apathetic and disinterested.

unfortunately it's not indicative of too much. in a 2 party system the parties positions will slide around to make sure it's about 50-50. in other words republicans will always do ok, the danger is they slide ever leftward.
