It's usually worse when the justification is "drugs" though. The Walking Dead was just stupidity/bad decisions. Fear The Walking Dead was "oh, he's a druggie/drunk."

My least favorite is when a character is told by someone in authority not to do something and then goes ahead and does it. That was basically the whole plot of Wonder Woman.

My least favorite is when people use computers to do things computers can’t do, but my FAVORITE is people macgyver-ing household objects to duplicate someone’s thumbprint and fool a thumbprint scanner

After Season 4 I felt the Sopranos did this. Tony was always the smart one, the careful one. He could be impulsive, but never about business. Then he started gambling heavy, making enemies he didnt have to make...his decisions started feeling forced, not organic.
