There is, as we all know, all manner of nasty, stupid, & immoral stuff in Trump's pre-presidential career, People who wanted him to have the job didn't care. If they think he's doing a good job, they still won't care. If they think he isn't, they'll vote him out anyway.

I understand the value of this line of attack: it confirms the D base in their hatred & scorn, thus serving a rallying purpose. Ditto much of what was thrown at Obama, Bush, Clinton. Just don't lie to yourself that it's gonna persuade anybody.

Anecdotally going door to door for Rubio, most lines would bounce off Trump's supporters. except "if he invested his father's money in the stock market, he'd be richer than he is now." But agreed that everything pre-Presidency has been "litigated."
