My argument is that they are notional threat that is far less likely, and far less dangerous in scale, than *what is happening right in front of you at this very moment.* If you want to rationalize Trump by saying you're preventing the Sharia SCOTUS of 2045, fine.

I also think that you, for all your talk of expertise, are intentionally ignoring that you can vote out the Dems if they screw up. But this is a crisis that can only be ended by defeating Trump at the polls, and you are straw-manning it to death, which is not honest.
