This, I disagree with. The fact that Trump won is fairly strong proof that any Republican could have won. Of course, Kasich would have had a different coalition & victory was uncertain, but these are the natural dynamics after 8 years of an incumbent.https://twitter.com/fredontwittur/status/1120735814726631426 …

Who's Rubio going to motivate by running on amnesty? At least Kasich had a shot at getting some Dems.

Rubio would have won IA, PA, WI, & probably at least one of MN, NH, CO, or VA. Recall that Trump ran behind GOP Senate candidates in IA, PA & WI and got fewer votes in WI than Romney did.

Oddly, my read on Kasich is he’d ve stronger than Trump in the popular vote vs Hillary, but not necessarily the electoral college.

Also, this isn’t true about voters- Trump hit an inside electoral straight in spite of losing the popular vote by about the same amount ~3 Million, as John Kerry in 2004. Trump was also 2% lower in vote share than Kerry as well.

Stop it! Thousand would have sat out the election if not for Trump being the nominee. Dems had popular vote and bigger numbers

I like how “pull my baseball crank” acts like he’s an expert here. He picked and voted for Hillary. Be ashamed!
