I remember the ash from the towers falling like snow here in Brooklyn, there was no desire to hide what happened, we were mad as Hell and wanted to hit back at the terrorists who attacked us, never imagined 18 years later those terrorists would be described as "some people..."

The images don't need to be censored. Sentiment that dismisses the cause and severity of the attacks need to be condemned. And, unfortunately, it seems as if the younger generation needs a reminder about the threats that exist to the freedoms they take for granted.

I think the difference is that Pearl Harbor images weren’t used to score political points. The 9/11 images are being used for just that.

I’m not sure how that would affect whether or not content was triggering, would it matter whether someone saw those images in a newsreel as opposed to what is basically a smear ad?
