      Ted Williams had a .498 on base percentage from age 22-38, meaning he got on base just short of half the time over a 17 year period. And probably clears .500 in that span if not for WWII. Most seasons, .490+ OBP: Williams 11 Ruth 7 Bonds 4 [5 pitchers] 4 or 5
