Comparing today's action/adventure shows to the ones aired in the late 70s-mid 80s period, I'm not sure if audiences got more sophisticated, or Hollywood stopped using so much cocaine.

I have Max Headroom on DVD. It was a GREAT show, far ahead of its time.

Cheers remains my favorite sitcom, 80s or any era.

I remember that a season finale of Sledge Hammer!, when they were certain the show would be canceled, ended with the city being destroyed...then they got renewed.

Sledge Hammer! was so underrated.

Did you ever watch the Dudley Moore-Eddie Murphy film “Best Defense”? It was enjoyable, yet fared poorly with critics, but David Rasche as a Russian spy is absolutely not to be missed!

Sledge Hammer was fantastic, unfortunately it didn't last long. Hunter probably lasted too long, but it was great too.

...the parody Sledge Hammer!... I still use the catch phrase, "Trust me. I know what I'm doing."
