I think even on an emotional level it is wrong at least as far as TN is concerned. For the most part, the idea of a black president was a large source of the outrage. It's just silly to pretend otherwise.

I'm not sure that's 100% right. I think many were okay with Obama being black up to a point. But when he pointed out instances of black people being treated unfairly, suddenly a whole lot of white people turned on him.

True. Trump has caved to the Democrats on every shut down and spending bill battle. He is NOT a fighter! Also, he has failed on the border wall which is mostly what he ran on in 2016!
