The point isn’t that he hasn’t mentioned AOC by name. I think that the obsession with the kind of column he wrote—and it’s at least weekly from somebody since 2016—reveals how little he seems to understand about where the real threat is coming from.

Wait, are you arguing that past conduct is a guide to future trustworthiness? If so, you just made my point for why I continue to not trust Trump.

Do you support ending the border crisis with a wall? Do you support defunding abortion? Do you support negotiations with NoKo? Do you support moving the embassy to Jerusalem? Do you support ending Obamacare? Now imagine any of the other 16 trying to achieve just 1 of these.

I support some additional wall, but do not think it would solve much. Unilateral negotiations with NoKo is weak & dumb. Trump's mistakes were critical to kneecapping the repeal of Obamacare.

Are you saying that, even given where the Left is now, you will not vote for him in 2020? That's effed-up, right there.

Which is how we got to the point of Trump being voted in. Decades of false and empty promises from the Right and being told that American citizens are second to illegals. It's not brain surgery.

I'll never vote for another politician who is also a "lawyer" again.
