They say that was a big part of Ike’s popularity and that the 50s were a collective breather.

An underappreciated part of Ike’s presidency was the dialing back of perpetual emergency. He really restored the country to civil life. We could really use somebody like him again.

This wonderful woman: Immigrated at age 17. Was widowed at 26, while pregnant. Buried a daughter at 35. Buried another husband & son at 38. Buried another son at 53. Buried her third husband at 57. Died herself at 70, survived by 4 additional children.

Dan just to remind Trump got Allison Rushing as a Circuit Judge for the 4 th Circuit..she is only 37...He has 2 more this week..still think Trump was a bad idea..these Judges are for decades long after Trump.

Wow, your grandparents must have had children fairly late in life. IIRC grandma was born a year before the end of WWI, and had Mom the year before the US entered WWII.
