@bascule Don't bother. People will just say you're a whiner and it's no problem for them. Plus pain is good when it comes to encryption.

@matthew_d_green apparently I need to set GPG_TTY=$(tty) and unset DISPLAY if I'm using gpg 2.1 on OS X... -
@bascule Hell I can't even 2.1 to build. On Linux. 2.0 builds flawlessly. This is a release, not the dev branch. -
@matthew_d_green I went back to 2.0 to even try to get things to work. Now that I did I want to regenerate my keys... again... -
@matthew_d_green also it seems if I want to use a hardware token-based authentication key I need to publish it along with my GPG keys? o_O -
@bascule Wait, a signing key or some other kind of authenticating key? -

@PhilDarnowsky@bascule funny you should say that, I spent 2hrs yestrday battling gpg-agent and OS X and launchd before ending in same place -
@bizzyunderscore@PhilDarnowsky AFAICT gpg 2.1 on OS X is totally broken -
@bascule@PhilDarnowsky I'm using the MacGPGtools bundle which has been ok until I tried fancy agent stuff like ssh support and launchd -
@bizzyunderscore@PhilDarnowsky yeah, I'd like to keep my SSH key on a Yubikey -
@bascule@PhilDarnowsky I have a long term project figuring out how to use SIM cards to unlock agent since carriers give them out free.
