      @ggreenwald Tor's the only privacy project that receives anything approaching serious funding. But it's very vulnerable to targeted attacks.

      @ggreenwald I have no issues with Tails, but they work on a shoestring. Meanwhile other privacy projects like Truecrypt have gone away.

      @matthew_d_green @ggreenwald GnuPG codebase is a depressingly ancient C codebase. Never audited, AFAIK. Sad, for such a crucial tool.

      @adam3us @jgarzik C might be safe with proper parsing code and memory safe primitives. But nobody does any of this.
