Amazon's website works without Javascript all the way to the order & actual purchase. I am seriously impressed!
@sergeybratus a tradeoff between security snd convenience rarely considered by the general public

@bascule Trouble is, I fail to see how AJAXy-s always-moving-under-your-mouse websites are in fact a convenience to user, not advertisers. -
.
@sergeybratus I think, with a lot more work, HTML/JS apps can enable end-to-end encryption for ad hoc use cases: https://github.com/cryptosphere/cryptosphere/wiki/Browser-Security-Model … -
@bascule Looks interesting, but I'd prefer a more limited computational environment in a browser, one that could be verified/reasoned about -
@sergeybratus that'd be awesome, but I think we have little choice but to fix the mess that is the browser :|

@bascule The caveat, of course, is, I loathe MS Office application GUIs & Google's emulations of them; they reduce me to rage and/or tears.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
