@bascule Define "not doing crypto"? You mean using the language itself for crypto primitives, or all crypto (eg: incl composition/protocols)

@bascule Not really. We agree "Trust no one" is fundamentally flawed. But you also say that "protect server interests" is fine. Hence the Q -
@sleevi_ “trust no one” means in the scope of the protocol, and it can work. See Bitcoin, not that I’m a Bitcoin fan
