@bentayloruk@bascule threema might be better, but it’s not OpenSource. It seems impossible to get open source non-snakeoil messaging. -

@bentayloruk@bascule yepp. But then there’s still the issue of needing traction. Non-OpenSource has marketing budgets. We don’t. -

@bentayloruk the other issue is traffic/scaling. Running an infrastructure for tons of users costs money - something else OpenSource lacks. -
