@tapoueh C is not a managed language, and Azul had the JVM going on 1000 cores before Erlang's BEAM could run on 2 -

@bascule ok, I will have to look at all that more seriously, meanwhile have a good life with the JVM! (I'm not switching from Common Lisp) -
@tapoueh Disruptor is about as close to "the metal" as you can get without using C/C++, even if prevents false sharing with compiler errata
