@alindeman Would be nice if Rubinius had used the same flag as JRuby when they added theirs. Ours also works in RUBYOPT, and theirs doesn't.

@headius@alindeman if only#rubinius allowed -X options in RUBYOPT, chruby could do `chruby rubinius -X19` https://github.com/rubinius/rubinius/issues/1861 …1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@postmodern_mod3@headius@alindeman RUBYOPT is cross impl so we don't think it's prudent to allow it to have impl specific values.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@evanphx@headius@alindeman both MRI and JRuby allow impl specific options in RUBYOPT. Rubinius is the odd one out.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@postmodern_mod3@headius@alindeman Good examples. 1.9 seems to have added a lot of impl specific ones. Perhaps it's fine for rbx to now.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@evanphx@headius@alindeman also it would be cool if all the implementations could agree on a way to specify which version to run as.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
