@bascule@pnoordhuis if this is still true with redis-rb 3.0.0 it's probably safer to add a warning ASAP if not used with hiredis loaded. -

@bascule btw setting client timeout to zero in redis.conf (the default for Redis 2.6.x) helps to avoid useless disconnections.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
