@bascule this is interesting, I was not aware that hiredis caused a difference other than in the performances area /cc@pnoordhuis -
@antirez@pnoordhuis timeouts were completely broken in the pure Ruby version -
@bascule@pnoordhuis if this is still true with redis-rb 3.0.0 it's probably safer to add a warning ASAP if not used with hiredis loaded. -
