I think we should be glad server ransomware wasn't really a thing when Shellshock was discovered in 2014.
@martijn_grooten Already existed, but those were still the 'normal' ones (such as Reveton etc.). And indeed in much lower volume.

@bartblaze And those didn't attack servers. CryptoLocker was a thing before Shellshock, but that only targeted clients. -
