@bartblaze Also, check the extension of your encrypted files. Copycat CL appends ".k" after the file extension.
@tomchop_ That's the weird thing, they weren't encrypted but corrupted. No file extension change, no message, ...

@bartblaze How do you make the difference between encrypted and corrupted? -
@tomchop_ The filetypes were RTF and database files, so I assumed the ransom failed somewhere and may have corrupted them. It's a guess tho.
