There’s a time to evaluate your roster. It’s August, not January. On Doug Pederson’s role in determining the NFC East champ.

Does Doug Pederson think he's Nick Saban at halftime of the Georgia game?

This has to be Pederson thinking, "The WFT offense is so bad right now that if they get it at the 4, we're going to have good field position anyway." Right?

That had to be Alex Smith cadence drawing Philly offisdes.

Is that the WFT's best drive of the season? 4 for 4 on third downs. Great throw by Smith to the difference-maker.

  17. On this day a dozen years ago, Robbie Tolan was still trying to keep his baseball dream alive. On the bullet still in his liver, the cop who shot him in front of his own house, and being an activist in 2020 — and beyond.

  18. Very good interview here with Dwayne Haskins from ⁦⁩. “Worst week of my life.” You have to believe he’s not a bad kid, but just someone who made bad decisions and needs to grow up — and learn to read NFL defenses.

  19. Haskins and his performance will get the headlines, and rightfully so. But this was an organizational loss, and don't forget what's important -- not what's interesting -- about the root problems of the franchise.

  20. This remains amazing: Since 2018, Washington is 10-5 with Alex Smith as its starting quarterback, and is about to be 6-26 with everybody else. There is one priority in Ashburn this week: Get Alex healthy.
