This guy should get better lawyers. Withdrawal from the treaty takes effect A YEAR from notice, and DOES NOT affect jurisdiction over matters that arose while the treaty was in force. In fact, all this does is make him look guilty and so very, very, very afraid.

Sir, I read the process of withdrawal from the ICC. You must write a letter to the Secretary General of the United Nations expressing your withdrawal and send it to them. The problem is, he also hates the United Nations.

So all in all a useless maneuver. And a costly one at that. Now the PH cannot be viewed by foreign investors as a country that officially follows a certain legal standard, even on paper.
