- The first round is blind. Try to help protect your anonymity by not revealing personal details. - Think about what you want the key takeaway(s) to be. - Remember that you're selling your talk to us (then to the attendees if selected). (2/4)

- Get your proposal in before the last day so we have more time to read it (and ask questions). I've also found it personally helpful to have someone (or people) that can proofread/critique a proposal before submitting in case there are things that need more explanation. (3/4)

This is good stuff Richard. Something I think I’ve been guilty of myself is being in too much of a hurry to submit something and having it not be as well thought out and articulated.
