Is there any reason for a service charge other than making prices look better? It goes to biz either way.

this is wild to me because one of the reasons I started using Lyft over Uber was the ability to tip the drivers directly through the app (before Uber added that feature), and anecdotally I know a number of people who felt the same way at the time

It's interesting-I always tipped when I used Lyft initially but when Uber started accepting in app tips I have been less consistent
