When I worked for the Joint Medical folks one of my mentors was a psychologist who spent his "off time" helping TBI patients. Dubya cut funds to TBI efforts just before invading Afghanistan, even though Military epidemiologists were warning in 2001 they were coming.

As a person who works in a state psychiatric hospital I have seen lives destroyed by TBI resulting in loss of cognition or full blown psychiatric disorder. Sick to minimize the impact of the attack.

Is it possible that he is downplaying their injuries to keep up the veneer that nothing bad happened with Iran’s retaliation, ergo he doesn’t have to respond with escalation? It’s not like he is in charge of the soldier’s healthcare.

TBI may be a closed wound,non the less still a wound, it will lead one to many many medical problems that are still haunting vets from Vietnam war,it robs ones soul, I could go on but read about it ,it's a very serious condition.
