    Gave to recently. Immediately flooded with desperate text messages demanding that exact amount of donation repeatedly. Not one thank you. Just more sad groveling. Makes me hate electoral politics and I’m one of the few HOPEFUL people left.

    Why would I donate? The only visible outcome of my donations has been a constant firehouse of this garbage. Why would I give them money when the only thing I see them spend it on is harassing people?

    Where is the point of leverage in this sick ecosystem of Democratic messaging? Why do and reward such tacky and aggressive nonsense? Who has a monopoly on this and how do we break it.

    I cannot believe I have to say this about a Democratic email list: No, you should never, ever send the subject line: "your audit." Stop being monsters for your $3 donations and think about the real people in this country who are struggling & terrified of those two words.
