🚨 The authors of node-ipc have pushed malware in an update, which wipes your disk if you happen to have Russian or Belorussian IP address.
This affects some large projects like Vue CLI where it is a dependency.

Does it wipe your disk though? From the issue's comment's it seems to just write a file to the OS if it does not exist, saying peacenotwar.
Not that this is much better, but well.

Looking at this, it traverses all the way to root and overwrites all files.
