But...you don't own it. Copyright on YouTube works in that you have to own the intellectual property and rights to what you're uploading to monetize it. So if an example is the NCT Ruins Twilight vids (lol my favs) the only people who could ever make money off of it is SM for NCT

And whichever company owns the rights to Twilight. Anyone who uploads anything with content from those two at best will get tagged as non-monetizable and at worst can get a copyright strike if they deem you've used too much of their content

YouTube really need to stop being petty to hard working creators because they don't want to give out coin. I feel that their regulations and terms don't benefit most creators which is sad because without creators there wouldn't be so much fun content on YouTube.

Let's hope they reconsider. They should support creators which is what the point of youtube is and what you clearly are. Your videos entertain thousands of individuals and make us smile and have a laugh when we truly need it.
