I heard one of the leaders was known for scamming fans by setting up cons, then cancelling the cons and keeping the money. I have no idea if this is true or not. I have no evidence either way. I don't even know the person. But if it is true, fandom needs to avoid them forever.

It was someone in their staff. His name was Thai Pham. I believe he was hired and not a part of the founding staff. I don’t think the founders did their research hiring him.

I don’t know. But I think some of it is self sabotage. It seems like poor planning, wanting to make the con too big, and promoting it in hopes that ticket sales would solve all their problems. It’s been said many times but
