And every step of the way I vividly remember thinking how “real” these games looked and felt. Amazing.

srsly, back then even the lowpoly puppets in MGS looked so real kids these days justify 8-bit indies because they're just in the style of the classics, but they forget those classics were the AAA, best looking stuff in the block
