People like to guess about why prices move.
A better method could be "exit polls" for crypto exchanges. After users buy or sell, pay them a small fee to answer a quick survey. Maybe use something like Bayesian Truth Serum to incentivize true answers.

Problem seems to be when ppl start either randomizing or picking malicious predictions on the rest of the field. This is assuming you are being truthful in how you perceive the rest of the population

I cannot get past the psychological bias we are considering in this algorithm, as in thinking that people are more likely to reflect on others their choices.
