There are various legal, regulatory, and reputational issues to deal with but I think all the matters raised in this thread and elsewhere by @micsolana @Noahpinion @sbuss @Aella_Girl are solvable.

This is related to a broader point. With web1, tech risk was primary. With web2, it was market risk. But with web3, the primary skill of a founder is dealing with regulatory risk in all its forms.https://twitter.com/balajis/status/1424795340524326914 …

If the primary antagonist with web1 was nature itself, and the primary opponent for web2 was other companies, the main concern for web3 is the establishment. You know you can build it. And you know people will buy it. But will they try to ban it?

It’s not that tech or market issues are unimportant. They can still kill you. But they are often not the highest order bit: can you legally operate in a given jurisdiction? Fortunately, web3 founders are mobile, backends can be decentralized, and there are many jurisdictions.

100%. As we have seen with Uniscam, uncensored backend is not enough. The whole stack needs to be decentralized
-
How is that the frontend failed for Uniswap?
